Catherine “Katie” Lekanoff (Schools), 33, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Unalaska, Alaska on August 30, 3021.

Survived by her husband Cody Lekanoff, 4 children Rylee (15), Corynn (13), Lily (11), and Charlee (3) (Unalaska, Alaska), parents Rich and Amy Schools (Fremont, Nebraska), siblings Zack Schools (Chicago, Illinois), Terressa and Chris Connell (Milwaukee, Wisconsin), and Ryan Schools (Anchorage, Alaska), parents-in-law Buzz and Bobbie Lekanoff (Unalaska, Alaska), niece Stella Schools and nephew Liam Connell, among many other family and friends who truly loved her.

Katie was an active member in her community in Dutch Harbor and US Navy Veteran whose bright and positive personality will always be remembered. A celebration of life will be held on November 6, 2021, in Fremont, Nebraska.
