The last time I saw Kathy, she and Max came to Mater Misericordiae in Phoenix for my son's baptism. I did not know she was coming and it was a pleasant surprise to see her and have her pray along with my friends and family. She was so smiley and joyful. I am sad to hear of her death. May she rest in peace

Katey and Family, I am devastated to hear of Kathy's passing. Like many former Andre House staff members, Kathy WAS my family. I loved her so much and she always went above and beyond the call to serve. I will never forget the countless carrot cakes from Honeymoon bakery and blueberry ice cream she brought because she knew that was my favorite. She was always there for me, and I will cherish those memories. I know she spent a lot of time being a surrogate mom to many but, she loved being your mom the best, she was constantly telling stories about your adventures and of course when she became a grandma, I think her heart truly exploded with love.
