My deepest condolences to Cathie’s family. I first met Cathie when I married my first husband, Bing, and I remember how warmly she welcomed me into the family. We would often talk at my house when she came to pick up her kids, and she always treated me with kindness and respect. I’ll never forget how she offered to teach me how to drive after I failed my driving test—she was the best teacher I could have asked for: calm, patient, and fearless. Cathie’s thoughtfulness and generosity were constant; she was always there, ready to help. Thank you, Cathie, for all the laughter and tears we shared. You will be missed. May you rest in peace.
