Catherine Carter, 70, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025. She was a loving mother, a talented interior designer, and a woman with an eye for beauty in all things.

Born on February 11, 1954, Catherine spent much of her life in Pleasantville, Knoxville, and Ankeny, Iowa, though her adventurous spirit also led her to Wyoming and Arizona. She built a successful career in interior design, bringing warmth and elegance into every space she touched. Beyond her work, she had a deep love for creating, always finding ways to make the world around her more beautiful.

Catherine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vic Herbert Carter. She leaves behind her three children, Marc Carter, Vicki Carter, and Kim Carter Bingham, who will forever cherish her love, wisdom, and creative spirit.

Her life was one filled with artistry, adventure, and an unwavering devotion to family. She will be deeply missed, but her love and legacy live on in the spaces she designed and the lives she touched.

A private service to honor Catherine’s life will be held in Ankeny, Iowa on April 3rd, 2025 amongst family and friends.
