Connie Carrico born on December 9, 1946 passed away on August 24, 2020 in Broomfield, Colorado. She was born in Norfolk, Nebraska to Joseph Carrico and Trudy Carrico. She was the second child out of seven and spent the first several years of her life living in Norfolk, Nebraska. Much of her life was spent in Buena Park, California where her parents moved in the early 1950's. Connie loved children but never had any of her own. She babysat many family members and was like a second mother to some who knew her best.
Connie was extremely intelligent and bilingual in Spanish. Her proficiency even got her kicked out of a college Spanish course for repeatedly correcting her young professor! She took many college classes and was the most well read person anyone could every meet. She read many books and often more than once.
She moved to Colorado in the latter parts of her life to be closer to her sisters Debbie and Linda and their families. Even though she spent many years with limited mobility towards the end of her life she maintained her sparkling and somewhat wacky personality and will be deeply missed.
