Cathy's obituary
We mourn the loss of Catherine Wolfenbarger,(nee Reynolds)a remarkable woman whose life was a testament to love, humor, and resilience. Catherine was born on February 22, 1963, and lived a full and vibrant life until her passing on April 26, 2026. Throughout her journey, she consistently lit up the lives of all those around her with her striking wit, boundless love, and inimitable sass.
Catherine had the rare ability to find humor in even the smallest of things, which endeared her to all who knew her. A fiercely proud individual, she had an indomitable spirit and a warm, lovable personality that left a lasting impression on anyone she met.
In her lifetime, Catherine had a deep appreciation for the simpler pleasures in life. She loved unwinding with an ice-cold Coke and watching her favorite film, "Billy Jack". She had a unique taste, reflected in her fondness for the vibrant tie-dye colors that she couldn't get enough of. She was always happiest when she was in a beach chair under an umbrella or just laying on a beach towel, as long as her toes were in the sand.
She was a valued employee of the Post Office for many years - a tenure that she considered one of her greatest accomplishments. Her patience, acceptance, and profound understanding of love were the cornerstones of her life, lessons she was always eager to share with her loved ones and the world at large.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Margaret Reynolds, her brother David and sister Charlotte to whom she was deeply devoted. Her legacy of love and laughter lives on in her surviving family members - her sister Mary (Ivan) Maxwell and her son Micheal Foster (Tyne), and two daughters Crystal (Tim) Declue and Barbara (Moses) Stutzman, and best friend, Raelyn Simon.
