Dear friends and family,
It is with a heavy heart that I reach out to you during this challenging time as my mom, Catalina Carriedo-Nelson, faces the last leg of her unexpected journey battling terminal cancer. We find ourselves with less than a month to orchestrate her farewell, and I am reaching out, not only as her daughter but as someone who deeply cherishes her spirit, for your help.
My mom's life has been a dance—a dance of joy, love, and resilience. From navigating the hardships of homelessness to finding support and community in the most unexpected places, she has faced challenges with an infectious spirit that has inspired everyone around her. In her final chapter, she wishes to be buried, providing a lasting place for us to remember and visit.
As we navigate this unforeseen situation, our family is not financially prepared for the funeral and burial expenses. I am reaching out to you, our dear friends and family, to ask for your support in making my mom's last wish a reality.
