Cassidy's obituary
Cassidy Vern Russell, born May 1, 1983, passed away on January 30, 2024, at the young age of 40. He is survived by his loving mother, Cynthia Robertson, two sisters, Hailey Russell and Elyse Bussard, and three brothers, Benjamin Crisp, Dustin Riley Thomson, and Nicholas Boehm.
Cassidy was known for his sharp wit, undeniable charisma, and the ability to sell ice to an Eskimo.
A true free spirit, Cassidy loved strumming his guitar and sharing stories around a crackling bonfire with friends and family. His love for music and the outdoors was evident in his favorite retreat, Camp Anawana, in Davenport, FL, where he found solace and joy.
Though Cassidy could be described as a bit of a troublemaker at times, his heart was always in the right place, and his loyalty to those he cared about was unwavering. He will be remembered for his playful banter, his zest for life, and the countless memories shared with those lucky enough to know him.
Cassidy had a vast network of friends. He never met a stranger and was always the first at introductions, engaging all who interacted with him.
Cassidy is now finding peace in the embrace of loved ones who have gone before him. While his absence leaves a void in the hearts of his loved ones who remain here, his spirit will live on in the cherished memories and laughter he brought into our lives and the lives of others. May he rest in eternal peace.
