Cassandra Crystal Kurovsky (née Craft)

Cassandra Crystal Kurovsky (née Craft), of Stilwell, Oklahoma, passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 63. Born in November of 1961 to John and Bertha Craft (née Bassant), Cassandra was the fourth of nine children. She grew up in California and was part of a large extended family with ties to Florida and New Jersey. 

Cassandra was a free spirit who lived life on her own terms. She had a strong will and a quiet faith that guided her through life. She was generous and often went out of her way to help others, even when she had little herself. She was known for her stubborn streak and her ability to make people feel accepted. Cassandra had a heart for those who needed support and a compassionate presence for those navigating difficult times.

Her family remembers the best parts of who Cassandra was: her warmth, her faith, her generosity, and her willingness to be there for others. She gave freely and left behind memories that will be treasured.

Cassandra was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Kurovsky; her parents, John Craft and Bertha Bassant; her older brother, Roger Craft; and her younger brother, Dwight Craft.

She is survived by her daughter, Crystal Ann Craft; and her siblings Katherine (Jim) Freer, Margaret Craft, John Craft III, Faith Craft, Pamela Craft, and Arnold (Monica) Craft, as well as extended family who remember her with love and compassion.

Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace, surrounded by the love of God that never let her go.
