I have known Casey all his life.  His Mother and I were friends in High School.  What Casey taught me was that the love of a Mother makes all the difference in a childs life.  He was raised with respect, care and LOVE.  He has shown us that even after he has left this plane, that he was a much more loving, respectful and unselfish person that we ever knew.  So many things have come to light about Casey that is so remarkable,  that we would have never known.

It tells us so much about his short time on this earth, he touched so many lives that most people wouldn't have done in 3 lifetimes.

He left and indelible mark in so many lives that he will live on forever in all our hearts.

Carilu, you raised a fine Son and Man.  You have everything to be proud for, and the pain you feel proves that!  May your heart be filled with love and pride.  I live you both si much.

Aunt Cheryl, as Casey called me all his life.

I have such fun and loving memories watching Casey grow to the fine young man he bacame. He will forever be in my heart from the day he was born. I will continue with my prayers for strength for the family as you find your way through each day to come. May God Bless you all. Love Terry

Casey will always be my Care Bear, we called each other that since our crazy adventures in HS. Casey you were a shooting star in the night, the brightest light in life and will be remembered for all of your love and laughs and amazing heart. My sincere condolences to the entire family and big Casey hugs to all that knew and loved him. I wish I could be there to celebrate you beautiful man and friend but you know I’ll be there in spirit and will raise a glass to you and pour one out. Love you Casey always!

Casey loved live music. We used to follow People’s Choice around everywhere they went. From SPJST, to The Pier and everywhere in between. He was a great dancer!! He always gave me the biggest bear hugs when he saw me. We would run into each other at other concerts later down the line, when he bartended, like at like Gary Allen & Wade Bowen to name a couple. Casey was one of the good ones. He never met a stranger. If he loved you, he loved you with all his heart and he was there for you. We go all the way back to 1995. Too many memories to share… but I will cherish every single one. Until we meet again, bud. I love you Casey Copeland. You were one of the good ones… and you were gone way too soon. See you again soon.

Casey was my first boyfriend and we managed to stay friends for more than 20 years.  A woman’s heart is a deep ocean and Casey will always be part of mine.
What happened  omg this is my bro my dude childhood thru high school n beyond someone tell me
I knew Casey only from playing basketball, but I knew him for at least 25 years that way. He was fun to play with, tough to play against, and always brought his own kind of quiet intensity to our games. Over the years as we all mellowed and matured, it became much less about winning and losing, and much more about getting away from it all with our buddies for a few hours, and the last time I saw Casey he gave me a hug and let me know it was good to see me, and I told him the same. We talked about the early days playing at the firehouse in the hottest part of the day, five days a week, and the guys that we used to see. I know all of his family and friends will miss him always, and his basketball brothers will miss him, too. Rest In Peace, Casey.
