His Contributions
Caru Prabhu, along with his wife, Vaibhavi Mataji, founded the Sri Sri Radha Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork in 2001, now a well-known spiritual and cultural landmark. They also established Krishna Radio (KHQN), a unique platform sharing spiritual teachings. More recently, they opened a temple in Mill Creek, continuing to bring communities together through devotional programs.
He is best known as the founder of Utah’s Festival of Colors, a vibrant celebration that draws thousands each year. Rooted in spiritual tradition yet open to all, it promotes joy, unity, and cultural harmony, and has since expanded to other regions.
Through his temples, radio, and festivals, he built a lasting legacy of devotion, community service, and inclusivity. He is remembered for his humility, compassion, and for making everyone feel valued and connected.
He is survived by his wife, Vaibhavi Mataji. We seek your support in continuing his legacy.
Thank you for helping us celebrate his life and service.
