Carter R. James passed away in his Vermont home on March 10, 2026. He died exactly 19 months after the sudden passing of beloved wife, Susan. Carter was an intelligent, dedicated and thoughtful man. His sense of humor and long winded stories entertained many. Carter was a car connoisseur and always enjoyed being on the water and playing tennis in Stonnington, CT.
