Hello my name is Kevin and I lost my 4 year old son on Friday December 9th. He'd been fighting with the disease known as SMA type 1 for 4 years plus he had 15q. I essentially lost everything trying to get him this miracle medication that helps kids with SMA because they caught the disease so late and the extreme cost of the medication (it's called spinraza and it's a spinal injection every 90 days) that the insurance denied him so in the last 18 months we moved to 7 different states to try and get him approved which we did but unfortunately it was to late. After landing in Arizona for the ALTAC program here he passed away two wks later. So in moving around and medical and job transfers I'm a bit short on cremation services. I couldn't afford to bury him nor do I think I could handle burying my son. Carter was the best kid he was a quadrapegic vent dependent etc, required in home RNs,etc, but he never stopped smiling ever!!! He was an angel and he changed my life coming into it and leaving. I'm only 200$ short I already did a GoFundMe but it never made anything and I don't have family I managed to almost cover everything but I'm 200$ short. Please I know it's the holiday season but I'd like to bury my son it's hard enough my mom is also dying and Im still a parent of a baby girl so anything will help
