It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Carrington "Sai" Dakota Fitzgerald, who left us too soon on May 6, 2023. Born on December 23, 2000, Carrington brought light, laughter, and love to all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving family: mother Mindy Fitzgerald, father Frankie Fitzgerald Sr., brothers William Weeks, Justin Weeks, and Frankie Fitzgerald Jr and sisters Amanda, Brittney, and Melissa Fitzgerald. Carrington was a beloved son, brother, and friend whose memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
Carrington graduated high school from West Potomac High School in Alexandria, VA in 2019. After holding various jobs, he started his own business, Fitz Auto Care, in 2022. Carrington was a hardworking and driven individual who took great pride in his accomplishments.
A man of diverse tastes, Carrington enjoyed cookies, ice cream, taquitos, and Wendy's. Some of his favorite musicians included Remble, Taylor Swift, Token, Lil Mabu, and Seth MacFarlane. Carrington was also a fan of television, particularly enjoying shows like Lucifer. When it came to sports, he cheered for the New Orleans Saints, and in his free time, he played games such as Call of Duty, Fortnite, Midnight Club, and Minecraft.
Always active, Carrington loved lifting weights and spending time outdoors. He particularly enjoyed riding his motorcycle, driving his Mustang, working on cars, and spending time with his family, friends, and girlfriend. Some of his favorite places were Top Golf and Texas Roadhouse.
Affectionately known for his vibrant personality, Carrington's favorite colors included purple, green, red, black, and gold. He will be remembered for his caring, driven, and charismatic nature, as well as his guidance to strive for goals while not taking life too seriously. His greatest accomplishments included moving out on his own, starting his business, and impacting others. Carrington's legacy will undoubtedly be one of kindness, generosity, and compassion.
To honor Carrington's life and memory, a viewing/Service will be held 1:00-2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Cunningham Turch Funeral Home. Please join us as we celebrate the remarkable life of Carrington "Sai" Fitzgerald and keep his spirit alive in our hearts.
