Connie I Simmons (Saffell), 55, of Powhatan Point Ohio, passed away May 27th 2022 at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Hopsital. She is survived by her loving daughter Carrie Simmons (Ty Moore), her granddaughters, whom she loved with all of her heart, Aubrey Myles and Olivia Moore, husband Richard Simmons, step-daughter Kara Sipos (Josh Sipos), Sisters Marlene Hickman (Jim Hickman), Lisa Pyles, Teresa Saffell. Brothers, Randy Saffell and William Saffell (Shari Saffell). She also leaves behind a niece whom was raised as her own, Kayla Dosch (Baker) and her children Dustin Church and Maverick Dosch, along with other nieces Jackie McCabe (Hunt) and Cortny Sapp and nephews, William (Billy Jo) Saffell, Jordan Sapp, James (Jimbo) Hunt (Krista Bonar Hunt) and their children. She leaves behind an Aunt, Pamela Call (Ted Call) and her daughter Lila Call. She also leaves behind a loving dog, Baby Girl.

Connie was a loving soul who always was there for others. She would give the shirt off of her back for someone else. She had a heart of gold and an amazing personality.  She would light up any room with her smile and contagious laugh. Her family, friends and grand daughter were the light of her life and meant the world to her. Connie is forever loved and will be truly missed by all who knew her.

“Remember me whenever you see a sunrise.
Remember me whenever you see a star.
Remember me whenever you see a rainbow,
or woods in Autumn colors from afar. Remember me whenever you see roses,
or seagulls sailing high in a sky of blue.
Remember me whenever you see waves
shining in the sun. Remember me and
I’ll be remembering you! Remember me
whenever you see a teardrop or meadows
still wet with morning dew. Remember
me when you feel love growing in your
heart and remember I’ll be remembering
you!”

Memorial service still to be announced along with a celebration of life ceremony to follow. As this is a very difficult time for her family and the family would like some time to grieve.
