Carrie Mae Grant, 83, wife of the late Robert Grant, of 481 Tamassee Ln., Tamassee, SC, passed away May 23rd, 2024 at Stephens County Hospital.

A native of Oconee County, SC, Mrs. Grant was the daughter of the late Frank Tierce and Frances Drucilla Gibson Bynum. She was an inspector and machine operator at Torrington and Ryobi. Mrs. Grant attended Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.

Mrs. Grant is survived by her son: Tony Swafford of Texas.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Grant was preceded in death by her son: Mike Swafford; brothers: Claude Bynum, Fred Bynum, and Jim Bynum; and sisters: Mary Hooper, and Grace Felton.

Funeral services will be conducted at          2:00 PM, May 25th 2024 at Davenport Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Whitmire Cemetery.
