Carolyn's obituary
Our beloved
Carolyn Ray Cornish Yoss , 81, of Brandon, FL passed away peacefully in her home on January 31, 2025. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Larry Yoss, and her children, Tina Miller ( Gene), Jody Manry( John) , Chad Hooper ( Nicole) and Nichola Cseko. Also, 18 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren and counting , as well as her brother, Brian Cornish.
Carolyn was born in Reading Michigan to Raymond and Margaret Cornish. She lived most of her adult life in Brandon, Florida. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and lived to serve Him. She was deeply devoted to her family, and her grandchildren were the light of her life.
Carolyn built a New England Saltbox home and filled it with authentic primitive antiques that she loved to collect. She and Larry eventually turned their home and outside cottage into a Bed and Breakfast called “ Behind the Fence” where they loved to host people from all over the country and the world. Carolyn was a friend to everyone and didn’t know a stranger. Her smile and laugh would light up a room. Her beautiful blue eyes had a twinkle.
Carolyn loved well and was deeply loved. She touched all who knew her. We look forward to the day when we will be reunited with her again in heaven.
