Carolyn's obituary

                            In Loving Memory
                                       of
                                 Our Mom
                     Carolyn Marie Valencia
                     12/25/46  – 11/14/2023

Our dear Mother sadly passed away on November 14, 2023 at the age of 76. She was a dedicated wonderful Mother who found happiness in raising her children and being there for family or friends when we needed her. Our Mom had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community she lived in, Union City, Calif. in the Bay Area.
Carolyn, or Carol some called her, was a role model. She was the strongest, most generous, loving person in most of her family or friends lives. She was always our cheerleader and our constant supporter. Our Mom cherished family & her friendships and in return gave family & friends that very special, loyal and genuine love and friendship back. Our Mom always put family first; a value she instilled in everyone. She was the kind of person that will cross your path once in a lifetime. It was definitely a privilege knowing her and having her in our family.
Our Mom graduated from James Logan High School. She was married to our dad, Michael M. Corjasso and had four children. Two sons, Michael & Rudy and two daughters, Ulii & Iolani. Our Mom lived, raised us, and worked in Union City. She worked as a School Bus Driver for New Haven Unified School District until retirement-she really loved her job, people she worked with and having summers off to spend with her children and one of her best times was driving a bus for the 1984 Olympic Summer Games in Los Angeles.

Relocated to Stockton, Calif. where she made many new friends and lived the rest of her days to the fullest.

Predeceased by: Her Mother, Yvonne L. Valencia, Her Father, Rudolfo Cosio; Sisters Cheryl A. Valencia & Yvette Valencia and Brother Robert "Bobby" Moreno; and Her two Sons Rudy & Michael.

Survived by: Her Brother Ron; Daughters Ulii Corjasso & Iolani Corjasso; Grandchildren Maximiano Flores, Michael DeLaRosa, Ulii DeLaRosa, Meleana Flores and Kalea Corjasso; Great-grandchildren Gabriel Jaquez & Linnea DeLaRosa; and Goddaughter Brenda Lopez & Godson Nicholas Vargas. Also, many nieces, nephews, cousins.

We will miss her so much and she will always have a very special place in our hearts and will never be forgotten.

We love you, Mom. Our rock, our hero.

We are in the process of arranging her Celebration of Life and will post details soon.
