An avid reader, The Bible held a special place in her heart. This was closely rivaled by her love for music, with “I Can Only Imagine" being a particular favorite.
She was often seen cheering for the Indianapolis Colts and enjoyed friendly games of 500 rummy. Among her favorite pastimes was visiting the casino, an activity she engaged in with enthusiasm. Despite this, she remained grounded and found peace in simple pleasures like walking and visiting her cherished local church.
Carolyn was also a lover of the arts. She eagerly discovered new TV shows, with "Chicago Fire" being her all-time favorite. Her passion for cinema was evident in her love for movies, especially "Ghost Hard to Kill". In terms of art, Carolyn's preference lay in the everyday beauty that surrounded her, not in any specific piece.
As for her favorite color, Carolyn saw the world through a purple lens. Her love for children was admirable, dedicating time and resources to causes that benefited them. Carolyn's great joy was a trip to Tampa, Florida, a destination she considered a personal slice of paradise.
Known for her loveable, sharing, and caring personality, Carolyn was a beacon of kindness and compassion. She often spoke of the importance of prayers for fallen soldiers, a lesson she lived by and imparted to those around her.
