Carolyn's obituary

Carolyn M. Spielberg 93, of Mesa, Arizona passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, August 1, 2018, after a long battle with cancer. Her daughter Sandra, son Jon and great grandson Ryan were at her side. Carolyn was born in Lockland, Ohio on October 22, 1924 to Emmitt Miller and Mary Carpenter. Formerly a long time resident of Willingboro, New Jersey and Philadelphia, PA. She moved to Arizona in 2010. Carolyn was the loving wife of the late Jerry Spielberg (2005). Loving mother of seven children, a grandmother, a great grandmother and a great great grandmother. Carolyn worked as a Home Health Aide for Bayada Nurses. She also was a member and a judge for the Cat Fanciers' Association where she also showed her prized Persian cats, for which she won multiple awards. She loved to be outside gardening, watching birds, especially hummingbirds. She enjoyed watching the old (John Wayne) westerns, soap operas (Y&R)&(B&B), putting together puzzles and listening to John Denver music. Her family will be forever grateful for the many months of heartfelt care provided by the wonderful nurses, caregivers and support staff from Compassus Hospice. Carolyn's ashes will be interred with her late husband Jerry Spielberg (Together Forever) at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetary, 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, New Jersey 08562
