This was a sad and unexpected loss for all in Carolyn's life, most especially for our children. Sarah, Becky, Abby - losing your mom is hard and you will undoubtedly feel like an important anchor of your  life is no longer present. Barbara - I know that losing a sister is also very difficult to deal with. Time will make this less intense. To all our grandchildren and Carolyn's niece & nephew, my sympathies.

Carolyn was a good person.

I don’t think I have a single memory of my mother without her holding or at least having a mug of black tea nearby. In fact, she couldn’t/wouldn’t leave the house without a hot, ceramic mug full of tea to take with…. not a travel mug…. a regular open  top mug. I remember being 15 minutes into a 45 minute trip  & her suddenly turning around to go back home when she realized she forgot her tea! 😁

Growing up, I loved to pick “flowers” and did so often. Every time I brought them inside to give to her, she would suddenly jump back shouting to take them back outside…. quickly! I was always confused at why she didn’t like dandelion bouquets…. & what were allergies?! 😁
