I recently read of Carolyn’s passing. Her mom and my parents were best friends in Fairfield and I grew up knowing Carolyn and her brother, Dean. She and I kept in contact at Christmas time; however, we lost touch the past few years. I was so sorry to learn of her passing and from this dreaded virus. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Sincerely, Gail MacLeod Rosenberg
Dear Alyson and Chris, I'm so sorry to hear about your mother's passing too soon and I wish we could all meet up again at Friendly's so I could tell you that in person! I have fond memories of time spent at your house as a kid and she can never be replaced. Love, Sheila ----- My mom and dad asked me to post this on their behalf since they are not on Facebook . . . Dear Alyson and Chris and families,
George and I are very sorry to hear that this cruel coronavirus has taken your mother's life. Her grandchildren should have had their grandmother, and she should have been able to enjoy her grandchildren, for many more years. The Sheas have endured more than one family's share of premature passings. I remember substituting in Carolyn's fourth grade classroom while she cared for your brother Jamie in 1991, and your dad died too young in 2012. Carolyn was truly a nurturing person, and we appreciate her hospitality toward our daughter Sheila while you were growing up together. Please know that you all are in our prayers.
