Carolyn's obituary
Born December 29, 1940 to Albert and Elsie Mason Jarocki in McKeesport, PA.
Mrs. Richards was a 1958 graduate of Sharon High School in Sharon, PA where she played trombone in the marching band. She graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1961 from the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, PA.
She served as a 1st Lt. in the Air Force Reserves as a flight nurse.
In her 54 years as a Registered Nurse, she worked in the OR, ICU, CCU, and as an ophthalmic photographer. She worked as a home health nurse until she was 75 years old and never stopped caring for others.
Mrs. Richards was a devoted Christian, most recently of the Seattle Revival Center of Bellevue. She spent many years as a Sunday school teacher and tirelessly shared her vast knowledge of the scripture.
Surviving her are two sons, Keith Richards (and wife Kirsten) of Bellevue, and Scott Richards of Mercer Island, her daughter, Daryl Stasik (and husband Eric) of Stockholm Sweden, and six grandchildren.
A sister, Barbara Barnett, preceded her in death.
