Carolyn's obituary

Carolyn Viola Mohr was born to Oscar and Clara Campbell in Chicago, Illinois. She had one sibling, Catherine.

Carolyn graduated from Moline High School in Moline, Illinois. She was married three times: her first husband was Robert Mohr, her second husband was Richard Holm (deceased), and her third husband was Rodney Johnson (deceased).

Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Kathy Mohr-Almeida; her granddaughter, Anna Rose Mohr-Almeida; her son-in-law, Johnnie Almeida; her stepsons, Robert and Jeffery Holm; and her two Chihuahuas, Corkey and Sweetie.

A loving and kind mother and grandmother, Carolyn always did her best for others. She fostered countless kittens and helped find homes for wayward Chihuahuas and West Highlander Terriers. Carolyn's love of animals was reflected in her career, as she worked at a veterinary clinic in Fountain Hills, Arizona, and provided pet sitting in her loving home for more than two decades. Carolyn enjoyed reading, gardening, and cooking.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to Lost Our Home Pet Rescue in Tempe, Arizona, on Carolyn's behalf.
