It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Carolyn McDermid, a radiant beacon of love and kindness. Born on March 6, 1935, Carolyn left this world on January 15, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of beauty and warmth.

Carolyn was a woman of immense passion, especially when it came to forging unforgettable memories with her family. Her radiant personality was underlined by her unconditional kindness, a lesson she imparted effortlessly to all those around her. She consistently greeted everyone she came across with a smile or compliment, spreading positivity wherever she went.

Among the things that brought Carolyn joy were her hobbies, which included knitting, undertaking crafts, scrapbooking, and engrossing herself in good reads. Yet, her most cherished times were undoubtedly the countless moments she savored with her much-loved family.

Carolyn is survived by her loving daughter, Kimberly McDermid Tabor; her doting grandson, Allen Tabor; and her beloved granddaughter, April Tabor. She walks into the heavenly abode, joining her predeceased husband, Scott McDermid, and her parents, Robert and Marie Hammond.

Carolyn's departure deeply affects all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of beauty and love continues to resonate in every life she has graced, serving as a shining reminder of her unforgettable presence. She will be tremendously missed, but her spirit will live on in the many hearts she touched throughout her lifetime.
