Carolyn's obituary

On October 16, 2021 Carolyn passed away at home in Spring, Texas surrounded by her family.

Carolyn rejoined her family in Heaven including her father Victor, mother Pansy, sister Vickey, and nephew Charlie.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Frank, son Peter, daughter Wendy, daughter in-law Mei, son in-law Clint, grandchildren Ty and Ava, nephew Thad and wife Melissa, many cousins, and long-time neighbors Diane and Ruthie.

Carolyn was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. Graduated Woodlawn high school in 1965. Carolyn met her high school sweetheart, Frank, and they were eventually married for 54 years. She liked to say 59 years because they dated for 5.

Carolyn didn’t understand dishonest because it never took anyone to a better place and that influenced all who knew her. No one, not a single soul, would want for comfort while she had a say in the matter and that endeared her to all. You could depend on her, you still can. All these qualities have been passed on to her children and grandchildren, so her moral insight and strength of character will live on for a very long time. She cherished her family and had love for everyone she met. She just had a way of making everyone around her feel special. She went through life with an infectious positive attitude and a smile on her face.

Carolyn’s first love was her family and friends. Although separated by miles, hardly a day went by that she and her sister Vickey didn’t have a phone conversation. Carolyn kept up with and prayed for all her relatives and friends and always followed up to find out how they were doing. Carolyn‘s faith was strong in the Lord and she was ready to join her family in heaven.

Her second love was spending time at the beach in Florida. Her heaven on earth was when her feet were in the sand and the sun was on her face.

Carolyn grew up with a wonderful family, lived a great life, and provided a priceless gift to those fortunate enough to meet her. She is loved by many and will truly be missed. God willing, she will be working the hospitality desk in heaven ready to greet us with her positive glow, warming heart, and beautiful smile.
