Carolyn Marie Smith of San Antonio, FL died at home October 23, 2022 at the age of 81. Carolyn was born Carolyn Marie Spaulding on January 17, 1941 in Waltham, MA. Carolyn was a member of the Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club in San Antonio, Florida, founder of the TBGCC Singles Club and Maine Selectman. Carolyn grew up in Waltham, MA and spent most of her life in Maine finally retiring to Florida in 2016. She loved sunshine, shopping, playing cards and Yahtzee with family and friends.

Carolyn is survived by her beloved husband, John H. Smith whom she met later in life and enjoyed traveling with especially on their honeymoon to Tahiti. She is also survived by her children Julie Davies, Daniel Burnham, Richard Burnham, David Burnham, Russell Smith and Bernice Bryan. Her sister Susan McGuigan lives in New Port Richie, FL and brother, William Spaulding in Hancock, MA. Carolyn adored her grandchildren Heather Klinger, Crystal Mullinex, Diana Keller, Jackie Miller, Lori Tousignant, James Burnham, Elizabeth Burnham and Derek Bryan. She even had two wonderful great grandchildren Caylex Mullinex and Chessa Mullinex along with many loving nieces and nephews.
