I am deeply saddened from the news of the passing of Carolyn, my beautiful 1st cousin. She had suffered so many tragedies through her life, and my heart aches for her. I will always remember Carolyn’s sage advice to me, at the time of my son’s birth in 1967, ‘Don’t use baby powder, use browned flour (or was that corn starch?) instead.’ I wish I could have known Carolyn and Janelle much more than I had, but living so far apart in different states, and without the internet back in our youth, made it very difficult. I know Carolyn was in horrendous pain, but I also believe, when our soul goes to Heaven we no longer feel any pain. I know Carolyn’s soul is in Heaven and has been reunited with Melinda, husband and uncle Lester, and aunt Ginny Lou, Lester Jr., Steve and others in the family.
REST IN PEACE LOVELY CAROLYN
