We had a lot of fun touring around Shasta, visiting the fish hatchery, going up the mountain, playing croquet, sharing meals, exploring caves, sledding down snowman’s hill in the winter or swinging off the rope swing at the lake in the summer. Aunt C was adventurous!
My most fun memories always involve laughing uproariously during games of phase 10 or Uno with the kids and a little bit of wine for the grown ups ;)
In response to "What was the most fun you ever had with Carolyn?"
She was very special in many ways. Namely her wholesome and sincere nature. She was a dear lady who loved with a pure heart.
She also had a sense of adventure that was infectious. Her enthusiasm and zest for life was something to behold! I found her to be brave for a single lady. Nothing seemed too daunting to at least give it a go.

We had the best time playing card games together. Lots of laughs and lots of winning(her) She was such a fun and energetic character! She brought the joy whether you were snow sledding, hitting the thrift shops or just sharing a cup of tea and chatting about life. I loved when she shared her pearls of wisdom with me. I will miss that , but I’m certainly glad to have lots of treasured memories. Especially those that include her love for my kids. She was like a grandma to them ❤️
