Carolyn's obituary

Carolyn J. (West) Grooms, age 74, of Centennial, CO, passed away on February 3, 2024. She was born on April 21, 1949, in Stuart, NE. Carolyn was a beautiful, selfless, dedicated, hardworking, and loving individual. She possessed strength and tenacity that inspired those around her. Carolyn had a passion for golf, music, and above all, her family. She was known for her phenomenal cooking skills, creative decorating, and being a gracious host.

Carolyn is survived by her twin sons, Matthew and Nathan, her sisters Cheryl and Cindy, her brother Greg, her nieces Debbie, Lori, Lisa, Kristin, Heather, and Shailene, her nephews David, Michael, and Andrew, her fiancé Rod, and her granddaughter Ava.

During her life, Carolyn dedicated over 50 years to a successful career in nursing. Her compassion and dedication made a positive impact on the lives of countless individuals. She will be remembered for her unwavering commitment to providing care and comfort to those in need.

Carolyn worshipped at St. Andrews United Methodist Church. The church played a significant role in her life and provided her with a sense of community and spiritual support.

In her free time, Carolyn enjoyed playing golf, listening to music, dancing, going out to eat, shopping, cooking, hosting gatherings, and most of all spending time with her family. These activities brought her immense joy and allowed her to create lasting memories with her loved ones.

Carolyn's greatest pride and joy of her life was raising her twin boys. Whether it was sharing a round of golf, a great conversation over a happy hour cocktail, or watching them sing, nothing brought her more happiness than her twin boys.

A memorial service to celebrate Carolyn's life will be held on Friday, February 9th, at 3:00pm at St. Andrew United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, Carolyn's family has set up a memorial fund. Donations can be sent via https://everloved.com/life-of…

Carolyn J. Grooms will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of love, strength, and dedication will continue to inspire and resonate with those she leaves behind.
