Nate you’ve been like a brother to me since we first met in 2005 so it’s like I lost a mother too. My heart breaks for you and Matt, you two are extraordinary men and I know how much you both loved your mom. Always here for you guys. Love you both.

Carolyn was such a dear friend to me.... she had a great sense of humor and was always ready at a moment's notice to do whatever it might be to enjoy some time together!
She was also one of the bravest people I know. While courageously dealing with her illness, she rarely spoke of it to others. Rather she joined in on any given opportunity to keep her life as fulfilled as she could.
I asked her once how she kept going every day as she did ... always pitching in to help others, entertaining at her home, and even continuing to play golf on some very challenging courses while very much remaining a social member in the leagues she was enrolled in.
She told me not long ago, "I have to keep on going because I want to live the best I can every day until I can't." When I saw her in the hospital, her last words to me were "I'll get better." Her positive attitude definitely carried her gracefully over the years.
Going forward, I will really miss this very special friend.

I met Carolyn years ago at a Cherry HIlls Singles group football party. She was friendly, interested in getting to know a new friend and we became great pals from then on. We shared many theater shows , dinners, holidays and a few trips together. She became my best friend. She was classy, elegant and introduced me to St. Andrews church. I moved north of Denver a year and a half ago to be close to my daughter's family my granddaughter. I was so happy for her when she got news that she would be a grandmother as well. She was a great influence on those who came in contact with her. She never had a negative word for anyone and dedicated her life to helping people. She is an inspiration to those who came in contact with her. She was kind, generous, giving, courteous and loved her family. I will miss her greatly and hope to see her again. Even though I am very sad, I need to remind myself that she is with God and the Angels.

I knew Carolyn several when we both worked at the hospital in Valentine. She had a joy for life, a great laugh, and a generous heart. Sending condolences to her boys, and all those who loved her.

Carolyn you were one of the loveliest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing and working with. Your legacy will live on in all the nurses you have mentored and in your boys and your granddaughter. May you rest in eternal peace. You will be missed.
