Carol's obituary
It is with deep sorrow and understanding that we announce the departure of Carolyn "Carol" Gregory, who left us on October 6, 2023, not long before her 72nd birthday. Carolyn, who was dearly loved and better known as Carol, was surrounded by love and care until her last moment.
Born on October 14, 1951, to her late parents, Bert and Edith Sackett, Carol lived an enriching and full life. She was a beloved sister to Edward, Lewis, and Paul Sackett, and Cheryl Seaks. She was a cherished mother to her daughters, Angelice Szabo and Dawn Morris. Her joy was incomparable when she became a doting grandmother to Heaven Jones, Christian Ralston, Domonic Gregory, Devyn Gregory, Gabrielle Heriegel, and Daniel Gregory and 11 great grandchildren.
In 2002, Carol embarked on a new journey at McDonald's. She was known for her hardworking nature and her dedication to her role. Above all, Carol was a person who found happiness in simple elements of life. Her taste was unambiguous and steadfast; she had an affinity for Pepsi, which was her favorite drink, and her love for romance novels was well known among friends and family.
Carol was an avid fan of the Star Trek television series and never missed a Hallmark Christmas movie. Displaying her creative side, she often engaged in plays of "Lily's Garden", and her favorite recreational activities included reading, gardening, cooking, and crafts. As part of her healthy lifestyle, Carol cherished long walks, and she had a distinct preference for the color pink.
Carol's life was a testament to simplicity, love, and unwavering dedication. Her warmth, kindness, and selfless love will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her loved ones, as they remember her not for her exit from life, but for the love and joy she brought to everyone around her.
