Carolyn's obituary
Carolyn Kay Brown, 72, passed away peacefully at her home in Dewey, Arizona on January 27, 2022. She was born on June, 9, 1949 in Greeley, CO to Jim and Alfretta Brown, the baby of 7 siblings. Carolyn grew up and attended many of her school years in Evans and graduated from Meritt Hutton High School in Thornton, CO, in 1967. Carolyn worked as a dental technician for Martin Dental Lab for 20 years. After her father passed away in 1983, she and her mother moved to Phoenix, AZ to live with her brother Richard. In 2003, she and her mother moved back to Greeley. Carolyn was a loving daughter and was the caregiver to her mother who lived to be 101. In 2014, after her mother passed, Carolyn retired as an executive assistant from CIC, Inc. and she and her sister Elaine, moved to Dewey, Arizona. Carolyn was a dedicated and hard worker. She always had a big heart and bubbly personality. Carolyn had a passion for bowling and was on 4 leagues in Prescott Valley, AZ. She had many friends, was well loved and a bright light at the bowling alley. “Brownie” loved her many nieces and nephews as though they were her own. She is preceded in death by her parents, twin brothers, Richard of Phoenix and Raymond of Greeley.
