Caroline Sansom, born September 4, 1939, passed away on March 24, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience. Caroline is survived by her son Jeffrey Kindelspire, son Mike Kindelspire, daughter Sheila Frazier, daughter Shannon Kindelspire, daughter Colleen Vaughn, and daughter Lori Chirizio. She married in 2000 and in 1970, moved to South Bend, WA, where she made a beautiful life for her family.

As a devoted attendee of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Caroline found comfort and guidance in her faith. She had a passion for delicious foods such as Fish n Chips, French Dips, and local baked pastries. A fan of country music, she enjoyed the likes of Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, and Conway Twitty. Caroline appreciated the beauty in vintage cut glass and printed sayings, which brought warmth to her home.

Throughout her life, Caroline enjoyed playing games like Scrabble and cards with her family and friends. She loved watching performances such as Portland Wrestling Sat night family, Red Skelton, Two and a Half Men, and Baseball. Caroline was incredibly talented in crocheting and knitting, creating amazing blanket quilts, decorative table sets, and hats for her children. Her skills even earned her multiple fair champion entries.

Caroline loved walking as a form of exercise and was known for her bubbly, feisty, loyal, and protective personality. She shared invaluable lessons on survival, the value of love for her children, and forgiveness with those who knew her. Caroline's greatest accomplishments included raising six children, overcoming monumental personal upbringing challenges beyond comprehension, and facing her fears head-on.

Caroline Sansom's legacy will forever be remembered as one of unfettered love for her children and husband. As her family and friends mourn her passing, her strength, resilience, and the joy she brought to the lives of those she touched will live on in their hearts.
