Caroline Ann Payne,

August 2nd 1940 -December 21st 2024

  Carol Payne, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and cherished friend, passed away peacefully in Tampa on December 21st 2024 at the age of 84. Carol was born on August 2nd 1940 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to the parents Charles and Anna Wisler (Dean).

Carol was one of five children that grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Carol was a single mother of 2 children that she devoted her entire life to.

  Carol is survived by her two children, Dianne (Payne) Kangrga and Jim Payne, three grandchildren, Amanda Galdonik, Jim Payne and Courtney Fraiser, seven great grandchildren, Chloe, Parker, Ryleigh, Leo, Micah, Catalina and Avianna, brother, James Fadigan and sister, Marguerite Terebecki. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Anna Wisler, brother John Wisler and sister Dolores Carfrey.

  Carol will always be remembered for her fierce and loving nature to those closest to her. She always stood up for the underdog regardless the cost to herself personally. Her caring and generous heart led her to help women in abusive relationships throughout her life.

  A Celebration of Her Life will be held on March 8th, 2025 from 11am – 1pm at The Crossing Church. 10130 Tuscany Ridge Dr Tampa, FL 33610.

In lieu of flowers Carol would prefer donations be sent to the people that took exceptional care of her when things became too difficult.
