Background
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made to the Caroline Moses Memorial Art Scholarship.
Caroline began her secondary art education at Linn-Benton Community College in Albany, Oregon (where Michael also worked for several years). She was a non-traditional student being older than average, married, and working. Through the course of her studies, she also became a mother twice over, but kept up with her studies to earn her Bachelors of Fine Arts. The challenges of adult responsibilities, especially motherhood, shaped her educational experiences profoundly and informed much of her art.
In honor of her hard work, sacrifices, and contributions, Linn-Benton Community College has graciously established a memorial art scholarship in Caroline's name to help support current and future art students with expenses such as art supplies, books, and other educational needs. The fund is aimed at non-traditional students such as working adults and parents to help them achieve their educational goals while balancing work and family life.
Your donations will help the scholarship fund grow. Once the fund reaches $15,000, it becomes a self-sustaining endowed scholarship, ensuring art students at LBCC can benefit from it indefinitely. Contribute
