Caroline's obituary
Caroline Hollander, 76, of Hurst, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
She was born on November 24, 1949 to Jean Urquhart and Lloyd Claiborne. She lived a life defined by strength, independence, and a deep, unwavering love for her family. She was the kind of person who handled things on her own, often insisting on taking care of everything herself, not because she had to, but because that’s just who she was. Her resilience was matched only by her heart. She showed her love not just in words, but in the quiet, steady ways she was always there when it mattered.
To her family, she was everything — a source of comfort, guidance, and strength. She shared a special bond with her family, and the love between them was something truly meaningful to witness. Her impact reached far beyond what she likely ever realized.
She leaves behind a family who loved her dearly, including son, Garrett Hollander and his wife Lauren, grandsons Aiden and Hollis Hollander as well as many more family members and friends whose lives were better for having known her. She is preceded in death by her husband Nigel Hollander, mother Jean Urquhart and father Lloyd Claiborne.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to those who cared for and supported her in her final days.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, May 16 at 10:30 AM at New Life Assembly, 812 Harrison Ln, Hurst, TX 76053 .
She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
