Carolina's obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Carolina Cobo, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, on February 16, 2026. Born on August 10, 1938, Carolina lived a vibrant life filled with love for family and her Italian heritage.
Carolina is survived by her sons, Mario Cobo (Catherine Fox) and Jose Cobo, daughter-in-law Michelle (Reimer) Cobo, brother Luciano Giampa, grandson Luciano Cobo, and granddaughters Rachael Cobo, Miranda (Cobo) Leonard, Kayley (Cobo) White, and Savannah Reimer. She was predeceased by her daughter Veronica Cobo, her loving husband Juan Cobo, and her parents Giovanna and Francesco Giampa. She was also predeceased by other brothers and sisters.
Carolina had a boundless love for Italian foods, and enjoyed watching murder mystery TV shows. She loved doing crossword puzzles, she also found joy in spending quality time with her grandchildren. Her favorite local restaurant was Leon's Bistro, where she frequently shared meals with family and friends.
Known for her candid opinions and enthusiastic conversations, Carolina was a pillar of strength and wisdom in our family. Her invaluable lessons on how to make pizzelle cookies will be remembered fondly during family gatherings. Carolina had a deep concern for the Italian community and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Her legacy of kindness and sharing her cherished cooking recipes will continue to live on in the hearts of many.
Carolina's vivacious personality and remarkable spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. We take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace and reunited with her loved ones who preceded her. Her memory will forever be in our hearts.
