The beautifully written obituary described Carole perfectly. She was an incredibly , warm , giving , strong and sincere person. Among many memorable qualities was her smile , her always ready laughter and sense of humor. Carole would smile and laugh in happy times and continued to do so even as her illness developed. During one visit as she momentarily froze, she looked up, smiled and told us to start (eating) she’d join us as soon as she could. Carole and Bill were generous and kind neighbors, and good friends who made our lives richer for knowing them.

So often while living in Langford Bay Estates, Carole would call and say she had cooked or baked and wanted to share the bounty, and could I walk to her driveway to get it. We’d meet halfway, I’d get some deliciousness of her creation, and we’d have a little chat in the driveway and get caught up with  family and neighborhood news.  Carole was a perfect neighbor- caring and considerate and very solicitous of my elderly parents.  I miss our spontaneous chats and her fabulous cooking.  Carole was a light in my life, my family’s lives, and in her community.  She and Bill are in our hearts forever.

So Sorry to hear of Carols passing and wish we had known of her celebration of Life.  I know she is back with Bill and very happy to be together again.
