Background
Mom thought that a good education was the most important thing a person could do for oneself. So, as Carole's daughters, we (Jill & Sarah) thought the best way to honor her would be to set up a scholarship in her name to help a student from Tuftonboro (where she taught for 30+ years) pursue higher education. We will coordinate with the guidance counselors at Kingswood to find a student. If there are several, we would like it to go to the student with the greatest need financially.
