Carole Marie Evans, 73, departed this life on Monday, March 13 2023.

She was predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Esther; her sister, Sarah; and her husband, Johnathan Evans.

She is survived by their six children, Michael (& Kara) of Charlottesville, VA; Daniel (& Christine) of Hampton, VA; Susan (& Andrew) of Fredericksburg, VA; Donald (& Kimberly) of Gloucester, VA; Sharon (& Tim) of Gates, NC; Karin (& Joseph) of Gates, NC; and along with 19 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Carole was a devoted mother and an avid bird-watcher. For nearly thirty years, she worked with and cared for birds in various sanctuaries and aviaries. In her retirement, she enjoyed taking walks around her city and carried a pocketful of birdseed everywhere she went.

Family and Friends will gather to celebrate Carole for a private service on Saturday, March 18, 2023. Details will be updated as plans are solidified.
