Carole Ann Kirkey Hill, 87, of Walpole NH, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Ronald Hill whom she was married to for 52 years. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all who knew and loved her. Carole was born on February 2, 1939 to Lawrance Kirkey Sr. and Marion (Bailey) Kirkey. She is survived by her three sons David and his wife Megan, Stephen, Timothy and his wife Kelly. Sister of Janet (Kirkey) DeVost and Larry Kirkey.

Carole was better known as “Nanie/Nana” to her grandchildren, Melissa and Brett Comeau of Brattleboro, VT, Christine Hill of Lynn, MA, Jennifer and Shawn Cronin of Franklin, NH, Matthew Hill of Lafayette, Indiana, Timothy Junior and Stephanie Hill of Cambridge, Mass, Samantha Haskell of Lynn, MA, and Kimberly Hill and her four great grandchildren Dominic, Emma, Brett Jr, Cameron along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that loved her very much.

She was a long standing member of First Christian Church in Lynn, MA and First Congregational Church in Walpole, NH and served many years as a deacon and a proud member of the choir. Carole loved working in Special Education and enjoyed attending the Red Sox games with her co-workers and students.

Carole loved spending time with her friends from church and going on many fun day adventures with the Walpole Seniors. Carole enjoyed many summers at Lake Winnipesaukee with her church friends.

A memorial service will be held on a date to be determined, to give time for all family members to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any ASPCA in her name. She will be deeply missed by all.
