Background

The Arbor Day Foundation plants trees for the Bootleg Fire Recovery in Oregon. In 2021, the Bootleg Fire devastated 413,765 acres of forest in southern Oregon, including the Klamath Falls Basin. This area is a hub for biodiversity, including bald eagles, big game, and other small mammals. I know my mom would love to give back to Oregon because it was so special to her. About Arbor Day Foundation

Each year, the Arbor Day Foundation plants millions of trees across the globe to help clean our drinking water, filter the air, slow climate change, and protect critical wildlife habitats. The need for trees in our forests is greater than ever before. Wildfires, disease, and deforestation have destroyed millions of acres of trees, and your donation will help bring these forests back to life.
