Background
The Arbor Day Foundation plants trees for the Bootleg Fire Recovery in Oregon. In 2021, the Bootleg Fire devastated 413,765 acres of forest in southern Oregon, including the Klamath Falls Basin. This area is a hub for biodiversity, including bald eagles, big game, and other small mammals. I know my mom would love to give back to Oregon because it was so special to her.
