Carol A. Zachary of Horseheads, passed away peacefully on August 10 2019. She is survived by her two cherished children Tracy Austin of Horseheads and John Goodrich of Sherman, Texas, four grandchildren Brytney Austin (Elijah), Erica Austin (Jon), Kayla Goodrich (Aaron) and Kyle Goodrich and five Great grandkids; Anthony, Jonathan, Avery, Quentin and Brendan. One of 17 children of Helen B. Martin and Ray E. Harrington of Corning, NY Carol is survived by her siblings Leona, Leon, Patricia, Beloved Bernice, Ruth, Roy, Ronald (Amelia), Coley (Jane), Linda, Richard (Sandra), Edward (Kelly) and Max (carol). Carol is preceded in death by Ray E, Ray E. Jr, Dorothy, Walter, and her mother and father. Funeral services will be held August 14th 2019 at Lynch’s funeral home in Horseheads NY with the Mother Wanda of Saint Matthews Episcopal church officiating. Carol was born in corning NY in 1945. She went to school at CFA as the last graduating class of 1963. After, she attended Corning community college where she would possess a spot on the deans list. She worked as a town/village clerk for several local courts and would use her experience later on at the Girl scouts of America. She was Taught confirmation and Sunday school classes at St. Matthews church. Carol was a ray of sunshine and had touched many lives and hearts.

Memorial donations may be given to St. Matthews Church 408 S. Main St. Horseheads NY 14845,
The American Cancer Society, or CareFirst Hospice in her name.
