Carol Lynn Choate Weinle, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on April 4, 2026, in her home in Sandy, Utah.
Carol was born on February 9, 1959, in Palo Alto, California, and was raised in Sunnyvale, where she spent her early years surrounded by family. She was the daughter of Dudley L. Choate Jr. and Betty Nadine Spencer, and grew up alongside her siblings Judy, Jeannie, and her brother Dudley L. “Bud” Choate.
On February 3, 1978, Carol married the love of her life, Robert Frederick Weinle Jr. Together they built a life centered on love and family, raising three sons: Christopher Robert, Jeremy Chad, and Brian Michael. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Elizabeth, Kenneth, and Caleb, who brought her immense joy.
Carol found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved visiting Disneyland, listening to country music, watching hummingbirds, and admiring sunflowers. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family. She worked at Walmart, where she built lasting friendships, and was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her love for the temple was a meaningful part of her life and faith.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her siblings; her beloved husband, Robert; and her son, Brian.
