We mournfully announce the passing of Carol Walz, 95, of Menasha, WI. Carol passed away on January 08, 2024,  peacefully in her sleep at Oakridge Memory Care. Carol, born to Josef and Josefina Wasilewski  was born on February 12, 1928 .

While Carol never married, she lived a full and vibrant life educating and counseling youth. She was predeceased by her sisters: Srs. Adelinda, Estelle, Joselma, and Adeline, and Anne Walz and brothers Adolph Wasileski (Pauline) and Donald Walz. She is survived by her nephews Paul (Heidi), John (Ellen) Wasileski, nieces Judy(Alan) Lang and Sara (Matthew) Spors, many great nieces and nephews.  Our heartfelt thank you to her dear friend Julee Mansfeld. When Carol retired, she volunteered her time at her long-time parish St. Bernard’s in Appleton .  We will miss her dearly. Mass of Christian Burial  for Carol, Anne and Don Walz will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Wauwatosa on January 25th at 5:30 PM. Internment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Milwaukee on January 26th at 11 AM. Wichmann Funeral Home and Cremation, Appleton handling the cremation.
