Carol Ann Veirs, 79, of Herndon, VA, passed away on March 2, 2022. Carol was born on May 1st 1942 to Rita and Angelo Gallina in Cincinnati, Ohio and was the oldest of 6 children.

She graduated from Mother of Mercy High School in 1960. Met Thomas Whipple Veirs In 1963 and married in 1965. Carol went on to have 3 children, Amie Veirs-Mecimore, Scott Veirs and Michelle Veirs, 2 grandchildren Kelsy Michele Tidwell-Harris and Steven Paul Tidwell and 3 great grandchildren, Ayvah and Chase Stiles, and Eli Tidwell.

Carol moved from Cincinnati, Ohio with Tom and kids to Northern Virginia in 1971.

When her children were old enough, Carol went back to work, starting with Chantilly Crushed Stone as a Bookkeeper She then moved onto a career with William A Hazel for 13 years managing the computer, mainframe and backup systems.

Carol, after leaving William A. Hazel became a real estate agent and broker. She retired from Weichert Realtors after a 30 year career.

Carol loved traveling nationally and internationally, reading, and spoiling her grandkids.

We will miss her greatly. Carol was predeceased by her daughter Michelle Ann Veirs, sister Judy Gallina-Oldfield, and her brother Charles. She is survived by her 3 other brothers Angelo, Anthony, and John Gallina.
