Hello mom missing you today a little more . Today somebody asked me what my favorite dish is ? Well my mom made a dish called scalloped oysters and it was by far one of the best things I have ever eaten . Love and miss you ❤️
To family and friends we offer our condolences on the loss of our good friend Carol. May she rest in peace.

I’ve spent more time of late looking back and one of the best things I can remember about Grandma is her big beautiful gardens. I can remember sitting in a bay window in the kitchen and watching the humming birds. I remember sun porches filled with wooden furniture and little wooden owls, beautiful crystal figurines, a musical laugh, teaching me to play heart and soul on the piano, and taking me to play 9 holes at shawangunk golf course then following that up with a chicken parm dinner at ricki lens for my birthday every year. She would give Andrew and I breakfast at the dining room table and Andrew would have Raisin Bran and I would eat Cheerios. After swimming and running all morning lunch would come around and she would give us hot dogs and chocolate milk. She knew I liked mine with a lot of chocolate and Andrew didn’t. Those are some of the best memories I have and I will forever be grateful that I was so lucky enough to have them. She was truly amazing.

Mom,
Thank you for teaching me life’s most valued lessons, first and foremost being family. You were the glue of our family: providing security, a sense of belonging, open communication, making each person within the family feel important, valued, respected and esteemed. To you there was nothing more important. I will try to instill these values in my children, the way you did for me.

I love you always and forever.
Your son, David
