Carol Thieme, 87, of Bothell, WA passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021, unexpectedly after a routine procedure.

She was born August 11, 1933 to Charles Hoffman and Lola Hoffman. Both preceded Carol in death.

Carol was happily married to Gerald Thieme in September 1952 until his unexpected passing while vacationing in London, England in 1985.

Carol was a wonderful mother of 3 children, Martin Thieme (preceded Carol in death), Wendy Marshall and Leslie Thieme.

Carol was grandmother to 4 grandchildren, Tamara Thieme, Justin Marshall (preceded Carol in death), his wife Sarah Marshall, Blake Marshall, and Andrew Thieme.

Carol was great grandmother to 5 great grandchildren, Tyler Estep, Lydia Marshall, Calvin Marshall, Walter Marshall and Bennett Marshall.

Carol was with her partner, Ed Lindsey for 16 years until his passing in 2015. She remained close with his son Steve Lindsey, wife Deena Lindsay, their 2 sons and daughter-in-laws, and their 3 young children who adored her and were treated as her own.

Carol loved to cross stitch, play bunco and cards. She was always busy visiting with friends and making new friends everywhere she went. She was loving, caring, generous, funny, all around amazing woman. She volunteered at Evergreen Hospital from 1989 with over 4500 hours until covid-19 happened. Her ribbons for her service were to the floor on her blue jacket.
