Carol's obituary
Carol "Meme" Susan Larson, passed away Friday June 6th, 2025. She was born June 15th, 1952, in Seattle Washington, a daughter of the late Frank Yoemans and Delores Fedie.
Meme was survived by her six children, twelve grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and her younger sister Lisa (Brother Darren Hadley). She was preceded in death by her parents, her Husband Walter, her eldest sister Sandy, and her grandson Kyle.
Meme found joy in cooking, baking, gardening, sewing, and movies. She could be found tending her vegetable garden, making snacks and watching Indiana Jones, or working on a sewing project. There were always laughs to be had when Meme was around. She had a wonderful sense of humor and there was never a dull moment. She touched many lives with her humor and her baking, especially her fudge.
Carol moved to Colorado in the late sixties with her family where she spent most of her life. She was married to Walter for 19 years. Family get-togethers for holidays and any occasion delighted them, and they loved spending time with their grandchildren. Meme always made homemade bread for sandwiches for the kids and there were always sweet treats to share. She loved to read and always encouraged that in her family as well. There were plenty of books in the house and she was always ready to teach what she knew.
In Memes later years she retired to Nebraska and was close to her friends Linda. She bought a small farmhouse that she was very proud of and got a job as a kitchen manager at a diner in Haigler. After living in Nebraska, she moved to Lake Worth Florida to live with her eldest daughter. She discovered Netflix, enjoyed many new movies and seafood dinners overlooking the ocean. Meme passed peacefully having lived on both coasts.
